DESCRIPTION:Mobilizing a jobsite involves specific tasks that must be completed before the first shovel of dirt is moved. This class explains the steps involved in mobilization. An understanding of what must be accomplished during the mobilization phase helps ensure that every new job begins with the necessary compliance and safety measures in place and good communication established between all parties\, helping to prevent delays\, fines\, injuries and other issues. Students will learn the steps that must be taken before construction can begin\, including permitting\, licensing\, safety and environmental compliance\, insurance\, logistics and quality control. This class also explains the importance of thorough documentation throughout a construction project. Well-kept documentation is essential\, not just for the success of the project but also for the protection of all parties. It is important that anyone involved on a construction project have a clear understanding of what they must document and how to do it properly. Students will discover documentation tools and reports that are used in construction and best practices for how to use them. NOTE: This class is designed for employees who are new to the construction industry. The information presented in this class is HIGH LEVEL and is not a fit for those with experience in the listed subject for the class. You can participate in this class in person or via live stream. You will choose on the registration page.
